Seasons will run parallel with important chapters from #WW2, beginning with Season One: **The Phoney War**. The Phoney War is the name now given to the period between Nazi Germany's invasion of Poland, and their subsequent invasions of Belgium and the Netherlands in May 1940, given the lack of land operations attempted in the interim by the allies especially. Remarkably, prominent German generals said after the war that if France and the allies had pushed on with a land offensive into Germany while the Wermacht were engaged in Poland, they likely would have overwhelmed the Third Reich's western forces. Chief of the German Army high command [Alfred Jodl](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfred_Jodl) said at Nuremburg that only 23 German divisions stood in the way of 110 French and British divisions on the French-German border. But the limited and disorganised [Saar Offensive](https://x.com/WW2coin/status/1834204237489996139) conducted by the French in September 1939 gained only eight kilometres before being called off after five days. During Seasons, $WW2coin community members will be able to complete quests with [Coinsniper.net ](https://coinsniper.net/coin/71023) to go into the draw to win significant USDT bounties. During *Season One: **The Phoney War***, a community member won the Season’s major prize of $1000USDT.
